This six-page comic was originally completed as a college assignment which had students writing and drawing a prequel or sequel to one of the several graphic novels studied in that class. Titled 'NOLA,' a sort of portmanteau of "New Orleans, Louisiana," these six pages are my personal counterpoint to the book "AD New Orleans: After The Deluge," which I felt downplayed the tragedy of the hurricane Katrina disaster and the deadly social problems which arose with it.
